The Artists Collective, founded in 2025, aims to create a home base and community center for Artists of all forms by offering innovative and sustainable solutions to space and marketing problems traditionally placed before creative pursuits. Our mission at The Artists Collective of Souther Maryland is to provide a multi-purpose work and display space for all forms of the arts, as well as to provide assistance, guidance and support to artists in our community; by providing the venue for artists to gather as a community, sell their work, and create and learn in, we strive to provide a safe and successful home for artists of all passions and abilities. With a dedicated team of experts and a robust business model, we are poised to achieve significant growth and market penetration over the next three years.

Harvey has been an active member of the Calvert County Community since moving here from Philadelphia almost a decade ago. For the past six years he has been an active member of a local non-profit community theater organization, holding the positions of company photographer, actor, director, Youth Troupe Director and Vice President. Harvey is currently the President of the San Franscisco by the Bay HOA and an active volunteer and member of the community.
While growing up in Philadelphia Harvey studied acting at the esteemed Walnut Street Theater. Harvey since the age of 5 has being singing professionally in various forms of music. He was part of the world renown Archdiocese Boys choir. Performing for John Paul II and for Grace Kelly. He had the privilege to perform and record with Jazz great Dave Brubeck. The Diane Heery casting agency has cast Harvey in several television shows and films. He has been cast in shows such as CBS’s Cab and Cold Case, and assorted roles in independent films throughout his career. A film buff and photographer Harvey has been sharing his talents behind the camera for the past few years by taking the stunning headshots and promotional photography for the local community theater.
Rachel believes that Art can save lives and that all people deserve to find a way to create, and it is her life’s mission to bring the joy of art in many forms to her community.

Time Can’t Harm Beauty - Rachel Clites Art and Design
Rachel spent the past ten years working with a non-profit theater company in Calvert County, serving in many capacities over her tenure there, Board Member, Secretary, Youth Troupe Director, Production Director, and finally Artistic Director for over 7 seasons. Rachel also owns and operates her own small art business, Time Can’t Harm Beauty, where she sells her fine art paintings.
Prior to her work in the non-profit field Rachel was trained in a variety of art forms including English Literature and Fine Art, Puppetry, and Theater at the University of Maryland in College Park, which she attended on a Creative and Preforming Arts Scholarship endowed by Jim Henson Foundation. A student of Jim Henson foundation, Rachel studied under and preformed with actors and puppeteers from the Children's Television Show Network as well as the Jim Henson Creature Labs. She has also studied with The Folger Shakespeare Library, The English-Speaking Union of Shakespeare Artists, The Globe Theater Shakespeare Artists, and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. Rachel has received awards from The Folger Shakespeare Library, The ESUA Guild, and the Globe theater artists for her work in classical acting, editing and directing.
As a Mixed Media Artist Rachel has been awarded an Artist in Residency Program from the Smithsonian affiliated Anne Marie Garden, and had her work hung in Smithsonian curated show in and around the DMV area. Time Can’t Harm Beauty, Rachel’s art company has been in business, showing and selling at art festivals and online since 2014.
